B.Sc Nutrition Dietetics conducted by Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu through its Collaborative Institution Rayhan Institute of Optometry and Health Science at Shastalaya Educational Institute & Sowmiya Hospital, Karamadai, Coimbatore. Applicable to all the candidates admitted from the academic year 2016 onwards.
Eligibility: A pass in the Higher Secondary Examination (HSC) or an examination accepted as equivalent there to by the Syndicate. Candidate for admission to B.Sc., Nutrition Dietetics shall be required to have passed qualifying examination with at least 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
For the Degree: The candidates shall have subsequently undergone the prescribed programme Of Study in a institute for not less than three academic years, passed the examinations prescribed and fulfill such conditions as have been prescribed therefore.
Admission: Admission is based on the marks in the qualified examination.
Duration of the course: The course shall extend over a period of Three years under semester pattern accounting to six semesters.
